This weekend we went up to my brother's cabin (Derek) and his wife, Lisa. They have three children: Thomas 7, Mia 5, Austin 5 months (one day older than William). We don't see them very often, and we've only recently been back in touch, but it was great to see them. They are a really great family, and I hope to keep in touch.
Thomas was really excited to learn that William is his cousin. He told me several times, "Did you know that William is my cousin?" I thought that was really sweet. Many of you know that Derek is the son of my father, and we hadn't kept in touch for several years. It was only recently (January) that we saw each other for the first time in about 9 years.
