Go Twins!
We went to the Twins Game recently-their second season game at the new stadium. What a cool place! We went with Olly's dad and my stepdad. We had a great time! Unfortunately Olly's mom wasn't feeling well (they had flown in the night before) so she stayed home. Gracie stayed home with my mom.

Potty Training!!!
William is potty trained today! Oh my gosh! It was so easy! We tried the other week and he had several accidents, so we went back to diapers. I decided to wait until he was really ready. Well, today we ran out of diapers and I hadn't made it to Target yet so I put him in underwear.
He had an accident :( Grrr...I gave him a bath and put him back in underwear (although I have to admit I was contemplating a swim diaper but Grace was sleeping in her room and the swim diapers are in her closet). A little bit later I was in my bathroom and William comes running in to tell me he went potty on the toilet. I really didn't believe him so I had to see for myself. Sure enough, there was pee-pee in his little toilet! I made a huge deal about it! YAH! He was so proud of himself! He knew to dump it in the toilet. He also poured water into it and dumped it in the toilet and then washed his hands. Later on he told me he had to go so we went to the bathroom and sure enough-he went!
He's been dry all day and has gone on the toilet 3 times!

Painting
I've been doing some painting in my spare time (yeah right!). For some reason I really enjoy painting. I like seeing the blank canvas and the work towards the finished project. Here are some examples of my work, and below are pictures of the bedding that my paintings match (from Pottery Barn Kids). Sometimes I wish I could just stay home and paint!
Easter
We had a beautiful day for Easter. William was excited about the Easter bunny's visit. He was excited to see that the Easter bunny gave him something from the Cars movie (his obsession).
Gracie wasn't too interested in finding her Easter basket, and as a matter of fact, it stayed hidden until about 2 days later! Oh well!
We spent the day at my parents' house. William enjoyed the Easter egg hunt!

Life has been crazy!
Time to update my blog! I was doing so well-what happened? Life happened! I've been crazy busy with kids, colds, fevers, shots, a baby who doesn't like to sleep during the day!
Gracie had her 2 month check-up yesterday. She's doing really well! A big girl 13lbs. 10oz and 24 inches long. She is really strong, and her pediatrician said to watch out-she could roll any time! She is so strong as you will see from the pictures below. She had 3 shots :( She did well though and only cried for a second. She slept hard for the rest of the day and today as well. She is smiling more and more content (she was quite fussy for a few weeks). She still sleeps in her swing and night and for naps. She is a champ when it comes to sleeping at night...once I get her down! It's never before 10 p.m. Once she goes down she sleeps for 10-12 hours usually waking only once. One night she slept 9 hours without waking!
William is doing okay. He has a fever and cold right now. Hopefully nothing more than that! If his fever isn't gone by Monday we go back to the doctor and see what could be wrong. It's been so nice to be home with him too. I love spending time with him.
Speaking of being home...I only have 2 full weeks left :/ It's a bittersweet feeling. I LOVE being home and taking care of my kids. On the other hand, I love my job and miss my students. If only I could bring William and Grace with me-then I could have the best of both worlds!
This is when I'm thankful to be a teacher. I go back for 7 weeks, and then I'm home for the summer. How cool is that?!?!
